CALVIÀ ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
35 hectares of Mediterranean forest, 5 km of paths, 4 panoramic viewpoints, the remains of an archaeological culture unique in the world and traces of the traditional use of the forest.

OUR MISSION:
We create and share knowledge about the park’s cultural and natural heritage. We seek to foster a civil society that is more informed, empowered, and aware of the legacy of our ancestors, while valuing and conserving cultural diversity.
We strive to care for, restore and condition the valuable archaeological and ethnographic heritage of Sa Morisca so that it can be enjoyed by all, with an emphasis on respect for diversity, improving physical, intellectual and emotional access to the historical remains. In addition, we want to ensure that future generations can also enjoy our historical heritage. Your enjoyment and access are our priority.
We create experiences that encourage exploration, and enjoyment of the park among the widest possible audience, both local and visiting. We also develop educational activities for schools, always fun and experiential, to strengthen young people’s connection to and appreciation of the park’s rich archaeological, ethnographic and natural heritage. At the same time, we aim to bring about a change in the governance of the heritage by encouraging the empowerment and participation of civil society in its management.

We are working to create the future museum of sa Morisca. A place for all people to investigate, conserve and display the rich heritage of the Park and the municipality with the participation of the community. The museum will talk about how throughout history humans have interacted with other cultures, exploring the diversity of existing models.
